High Speed Electric Scooter

High Speed Electric Scooter

There is much more than speed to consider when looking for an electric scooter.

After all, if you choose an electric scooter, it should get you from point A to point B faster than walking or light jogging. I get scared at 40+ mph on an electric scooter.

Here is my list of the seven fastest electric scooters on the market. There may be other fast or even faster scooters out there, but I excluded them from the list because all they have going for them is speed. They don’t work well in other ways, and I doubt you’d want to drive them.

Fastest Folding Electric Scooter

NANROBOT X4 2.0 Adult Electric Scooter

nanrobot x4.2.0With a 2000w hub motor and a top speed of 40 miles per hour, the NANROBOT D4+ is currently the fastest electric scooter.

With a range of 45 miles, it’s also one of the longest electric scooters on the market, though it’s priced the same.

The acceleration of the NANROBOT D4+ is unmatched. Even on the highest speed settings, you’ll hit it incredibly fast.

However, don’t forget that before you step on the gas, you’ll have to ensure your position is perfect. Otherwise, you’ll be thrown off.

Of course, when you’re moving at breakneck speed, you need to be able to slow down quickly. You’ll be happy to know that the D4+ has an emergency braking system.

This fast electric scooter is one of the few on the market that can boast such a system, and it’s pretty phenomenal for what it does.

While this electric scooter will probably appeal to people on their morning commute, it can do much more.
For example,

it’s so expensive because it has an all-wheel-drive system, making it easy to get around on the roughest terrain.

You’ll also find 6 shocks built into the scooter. Even when traveling over the most uneven terrain, you’re likely to have one of the most comfortable riding experiences possible on a scooter.

Pros

  • Enormous top speed (#1 of the 7 fastest electric scooters)
  • Massive autonomy in optimal conditions
  • Great shock absorption
  • Incredibly fun to ride!

Cons

  • A bit expensive for a basic ride

Qiewa Q2 Hummer Electric Scooter

Qiewa Q2 Hummer Electric ScooterThis Taiwanese-made fast electric scooter is one of the fastest products. It is capable of reaching an impressive speed of 35 mph.

Despite this high speed, the company hasn’t sacrificed any other features you find on the scooter.

It is capable of traveling a whopping 60 miles in the right conditions. However, you’re unlikely to get anywhere near it, mainly because the Qiewa was built to be more of an off-road scooter. Still, it’s nice to have that kind of range!

Honestly, Qiewa Q2 is not the most portable electric scooter in the world. It weighs close to 60 pounds, so you won’t be carrying it everywhere.

It includes:

  • front and rear suspension
  • front and rear hydraulic disc brakes
  • LED headlights and taillights.

It’s a scooter that you can also lock up without a problem. It comes with an alarm and a keyless remote control.

Qiewa Q2 is a fast electric scooter meant for a particular use (i.e., having fun off-road). However, it is the second-fastest scooter on our list.

Pros

  • Amazing performance and speed
  • Long battery life
  • Alarm system and keyless remote control

Cons

  • Not very portable because of its heaviness

Widewheel Pro Electric Foldable Scooter for Adults

Widewheel Pro Electric Foldable Scooter for AdultsThis scooter is the first on this list that looks like your traditional micro scooter. It has a 500-watt hub motor capable of delivering a top speed of 25 mph on a 15-mile range.

The WideWheel is named for the size of its wheels (which was probably obvious). The size of those wheels helps you get the most out of this scooter.

The wheels help with the speed. However, they also give you another huge pro. If you’re traveling fast, you need to ensure the scooter doesn’t rock back and forth, or it will cause problems.

Wide tires help provide a decent amount of grip. They also help ensure that the suspension works appropriately, giving you an incredibly smooth ride.

Despite the wealth of features in the WideWheel and a powerful lithium battery, this is a surprisingly light scooter.

It weighs only 37.9 pounds, meaning most people shouldn’t have any problems folding and carrying it around.

Overall, this scooter will be perfect for your daily commute to and from work.

Pros

  • Large wheels ensure a smooth ride
  • Easily foldable

Cons

  • Less range than other models

EcoReco M5 Scooter

EcoReco M5 ScooterThe last electric scooter on my list is the EcoReco M5. It reaches a top speed of 22mph and has a range of 20 miles.

It’s not the fastest electric scooter on this list, but it’s still a very decent option to consider.

The scooter weighs 36 pounds, so it shouldn’t be that difficult to transport.

Several features on the EcoReco M5 aren’t included on the other scooters mentioned. Still, you wouldn’t realize how handy they would be to have until you experienced them yourself. For example, this electric scooter contains a tripod mount that will allow you to have your phone in place.

You can have a GPS on your scooter, which is excellent for getting around unfamiliar places.

It also doesn’t take too long to charge the scooter’s lithium battery. You should be able to charge it almost fully (about 80% of its capacity) in under 3 hours. Most other scooters on this list will barely make it in 7 hours.

This scooter was designed for portability. It takes seconds to fold, and it’s so small that you can hold it in front of you while traveling on public transportation.

This scooter is a bit pricey compared to the other scooters on this list, but the price will hardly break the bank. Plus, the price is pretty fair for something of high quality. None of the parts on this thing will need to be replaced for years.

Pros

  • Tripod mount for a phone
  • Short charging time
  • Great portability

Cons

  • A bit expensive compared to other models

Hiboy MAX Electric Scooter

Hiboy MAX Electric ScooterMost of the e-scooters on our list cost over $500. However, that might be more than most people are willing to spend on a scooter.

The fastest e-scooter costs less than $500 is the Hiboy MAX electric scooter. It costs about $400 and travels up to 18.6 mph or 30 km/h.

The range of this machine reaches 17 miles or 27 km, again beating many of its competitors. This is a surprisingly good product considering most people have never heard of it.

Hiboy’s customer reviews on Amazon are better than most other electric scooters, beating even Segways. Since this is an excellent product, it is constantly out of stock. Check below to see if it is available if you are interested.

Fastest Off-Road Electric Scooter

UberScoot 1600W

UberScoot 1600w 48v Electric ScooterThis scooter has a speed of 30 mph. However, its range is slightly shorter than some other scooters on this list. You’ll get about 12 miles out of it before you need to charge it if you’re traveling at full speed.

You will find a button on the control panel to activate the economy mode. If you press this button, the maximum speed of the electric scooter will be capped. The acceleration will also be severely limited.

You’ll be able to get a few extra miles out of the UberScoot, which is ideal when you’re traveling to work. After all, you probably won’t need to drive at 30 mph during your daily commute.

There are other features on this electric scooter, like a built-in seat (which you can remove if you want), which means you can use the UberScoot while sitting or standing. I don’t think many people will use the scooter in a sitting position, as the seat is relatively small. However, having that feature is always nice if you need it.

The scooter is the heaviest you will find on this list. It weighs 117lbs. That means you won’t be carrying this baby when you’re in a hurry. That’s a little strange, as this is a folding scooter. However, it’s meant to be folded when stored, not carried around for long periods.

Pros

  • Different riding modes
  • Removable seat

Cons

  • Heavy
  • Low autonomy when driving at full speed

Dualtron Thunder

Dualtron ThunderThe last electric scooter on my list is a newcomer called Dualtron Thunder. This scooter is a BEAST.

It beats all of the above scooters in almost every aspect, but it comes at a cost – a whopping $3,800.

I don’t know many people who can afford to spend that much on a scooter, so we didn’t rank it higher.

If you like electric scooters, this might be the option to choose. And to be honest, it’s still a good deal if it can replace your car for your daily commute to work.

A bargain when you compare the cost of ownership, including maintenance and fuel/electricity. The $3,800 price tag may not be a big deal if it can replace your family’s second car.

Dualtron Thunder has a top speed of 50 mph and a range of 121 km, thanks to its huge lithium battery. This scooter can take you anywhere, and the ride is comfortable thanks to its powerful suspension.

Pros

  • Epic range of 75 miles
  • Epic speed of 80 km/h
  • Beautifully designed

Cons

  • Costs a fortune
  • Weighs a ton – 95 lbs to be exact

Nanrobot RS7

Nanrobot RS7Nanrobot has a top speed of 52 mph or 84 kmh and a maximum range of 55 miles or 89 kilometers.

You could travel quite a distance with this thing. And the ride will be comfortable thanks to the advanced suspension system of the scooter.

However, it costs a whopping $2,800 and only has three reviews on the product website, indicating that not many people drop $3,000 on an electric scooter.

But if you decide to go for it, I can only imagine how much fun passing cars on the streets will be. Of course, this comes with a severe risk of injury.

The answer is the same: Nanrobot is the most influential electric scooter. It has a dual 1600W brushless hub motor and an incredible battery life covering 55 miles.

It can climb up to a 65-degree angle, unmatched by any other product on the market today.

All of this comes at a cost, however. The scooter costs nearly $3K and weighs 40kg due to the large motor and lithium battery. You won’t be carrying it up and downstairs too often.

FluidFreeRide MANTIS

The MANTIS Fluidfreeride is a small scooter designed for speed and maneuverability. This scooter is designed for commuters and offers excellent acceleration, power, and a fantastic range. It is a heavier scooter than the compact scooters, weighing 65 pounds, but you can carry it with one hand.

This dual motor scooter with two 60V 1000W brushless motors will help you climb up to 30% hills easily. You can ride in single motor mode to save battery power and reach a maximum speed of 30 mph. If you ride in dual engine mode, the top speed is 40 mph. The suspension on this scooter consists of an advanced front and rear swingarm designed to help level and smooth out any terrain and make the ride as smooth as possible, even on bumpy surfaces.

The brakes are dual semi-hydraulic disc brakes. They are designed for superior stopping power on the base model. If you opt for the PRO model, you’ll have fully hydraulic brakes that offer even more control. The display is an advanced throttle combination that allows you to limit the scooter’s speed, cruise control, and even adjust the power of the regenerative brake.

The Fluidfreeride MANTIS has two front and two rear LED lights for high visibility, and a side LED strip that will help improve visibility even more. There are two options for this scooter. The basic model comes with a 17.5Ah battery that ranges 30 miles in ECO mode and a charging time of 10-12 hours. The PRO model comes with a 24.5Ah LG or Samsung battery that runs 45 miles in ECO mode. It also has a Minimotors display, a complete set of hydraulic brakes, and a 13-16 hour charge time. This powerful scooter will check off a range of boxes for many riders.

This scooter is mighty. It has two engine options, so you can customize it to what you want your scooter to do, and it also takes you farther. It has two battery options, and it’s a fantastic scooter for anyone who wants something a little more robust.

Pros:

  • 30 miles of range
  • Top speed of 40mph
  • Weight limit of 256 lbs
  • The Pro braking system makes it an excellent choice for all surfaces
  • Perfect choice for longer, more challenging rides

Fast 3-Wheel Electric Scooter

Massimo 8″

Massimo 8”With a top speed of 30 miles per hour, you’ll be spinning across the floor like crazy with this Massimo electric scooter.

This electric scooter has three distinct speed settings, allowing you to get from point A to point B with minimal effort. While it would have been great to have a little more control over the speed than just three preset brands, the three speeds make the scooter incredibly versatile.

With a maximum range of 5 miles, it’s perfect for a quick trip to work.

The Massimo electric scooter is equipped with a lithium-ion battery, which means a quick charge once you get where you need to be, which means that the short range doesn’t matter too much.

The fast charge is because this is a tiny battery that packs a surprising amount of power into the scooter.

You’ll be hard-pressed for those who like portability to find much better than this. The entire frame folds up in seconds and can easily be tucked into your closet when not in use. At work, it’s just small enough to fit under your desk.

The 8-inch tires are fantastic for even the bumpiest rides on your morning commute to work if that wasn’t enough.

They’re even good enough to do some light off-roading if that’s something that tickles your fancy.

However, this is not an electric scooter you’ll probably want to use off-road for long periods.

Pros

  • Top speed of 30 mph.
  • Fantastic shock absorption

Cons

  • The 5-mile range may be a little too low for some people

Fast Electric Scooter With Seat

Super Turbo 1000watt Elite 36v Electric Scooter

Super Turbo 1000watt Elite 36v Electric ScooterThis scooter has a top speed of 27 mph. Thanks to its premium lithium battery, it weighs 75lbs and has a maximum range of 20 miles.

Even though the power of this scooter allows you to travel off the beaten path, people are more likely to use it for their daily commute. You can enjoy an incredibly smooth ride if you use it for that.

The Super-Turbo has 10.5-inch tires, rear and front shocks, and a heavy-duty chain.

No matter how rough the terrain is, you’ll enjoy an incredibly smooth driving experience.

You can choose between several riding modes on this scooter, although it won’t change the range for you. You can opt for either eco or turbo mode. Only choose turbo mode if you’re traveling off-road or something like that. Turbo mode has no speed limit, which means that if you’re traveling in crowded areas, you’ll have to brake almost constantly, which can significantly reduce the range of your scooter. It’s more for when you want to go hard.

It’s a well-built scooter and will easily give you years and years of happy use. However, one thing I particularly liked about this scooter is the fact that just about all of its parts are replaceable. You don’t have to wait long to get the replacement parts either.

Pros

  • Smooth driving experience
  • Different driving modes
  • Replaceable parts are easy to find

Cons

  • Heavy and difficult to transport
